Brand new additions to our cam door closer range

Cam action door closers from Synergy utilise highly efficient technology to ensure the door is easy to open, whilst retaining sufficient power to close the door.

The entire range is CE marked to BS EN 1154 and also now available with the additional function of a fully adjustable electro-magnetic hold open device that is tested to BS EN 1155. The design of the hold open mechanism incorporates a positive holding position that doesn’t allow the door to creep to the closed position, which can create a hazard to any passing personnel traffic. Additionally, when the door is required to be held open – there is no requirement for the door to open beyond the hold open angle making the range particularly suitable for corridor pocket doors within panelling.

All of the Synergy Hardware Electro-magnetic hold open door closers are Certifire accredited and all adjustable power models are independently tested proving the mechanisms far exceed the requirements of BS:8300 and Approved Document M (ADM) when in the mechanical and electro-magnetic hold open functions. This is also an excellent method of preventing the added risk of doors being touched and contaminated or cross-contaminated with pathogens such as COVID.
